JD Cousins
J.D. Cousins and Sons was founded in 1867 in Buffalo, NY as a machine builder, and was the sixth company to register with the newly formed Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.
In 1904, Cousins purchased Howard Iron Works and moved it to its current 2.9-acre location with 12,500 sq. ft. of high bay plant space and 600 sq. ft. of office space, focusing on bolt and nut tapping machinery and fire hydrant manufacturing.
After WWII, Cousins doubled its plant size to 25,000 sq. ft. and obtained ASME Code Certification (the 219th company in North America). J.D. Cousins maintains its certification to this day.
New areas of manufacturing at that time consisted of pneumatic starting tanks and auxiliary equipment for the diesel and electric engine industry, along with chemical and refinery equipment (pressure vessels and heat exchangers).
Nelson and Gregory Pauly purchased the company in 1976, rebranding it to J.D. Cousins, and continue business today.

Rovanco
About Rovanco Piping Systems
Rovanco Piping Systems is a Leading Manufacturer of Pre-Engineered, Pre-Fabricated, Pre-Insulated Pipe & Piping Systems
EN253 Pre-Insulated Pipe
EN253 Certified Designer
EN253 pre-insulated steel pipe system is for transporting district heating. It is a pipe system for channel-free, direct ground installation. Tried and tested for decades, it is now seen as the industry standard for local and district heating systems and in industrial applications.
Our EN253 district heating pipeline, depending on the intended application, features one or two steel carrier tubes, welded, seamless or galvanized, or made of stainless steel. This piping system for district heating is well-suited for transporting heating water, domestic hot water, water/glycol mixture, condensates and other fluids, excluding steam due to EN253 temperature limits.
Heat insulation for district heating pipe is performed by a rigid polyurethane foam which can withstand temperatures of up to 250°F (120°C) PE-HD casing pipe provides external protection. All three components form one fixed unit, so this pipe system is a member of the composite pipe family.
EN253 Pre-Insulated Pipe
EN253 pre-insulated piping offers:
Excellent heat insulation*
Large range from DN 20 to DN 1000
Operating temperature up to maximum of 250°F (120°C)
Operating pressure up to 25 bar
Various insulation foam and monitoring wire systems
Available as heating, cooling, sanitary water and fire class pipe
*Heat insulation with pentane-driven PUR foam creates enormous energy-saving potential (λ50 = 0.0260 W/mK)

AIC
AIC's expertise and core competence is the design and fabrication of heat exchangers and provision of heat transfer solutions. AIC products can be found in modern heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC industry), they work in domestic and commercial heating boilers, private and public swimming pools, perform as condensers and as pre-heaters or coolers in fluid systems.
- Shell & Coil Heat Exchangers
- Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers
- Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
- Condensing Technology
- Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
Single Wall Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
Designed for maximum performance, the L-Line heat exchanger's compact, rugged assembly is composed of stainless steel plate packs sealed together by means of brazing metal along the border of the units. This eliminates the need for traditional gaskets or external pressure retaining parts.
The plate packs are embossed with special corrugation patterns to promote high turbulance flow, which dramatically increases the heat transfer rates of the units thus making them a highly economical and effective solution for many process and heating applications.
Shell and Straight Tube Heat Exchanger
B-Line heat exchangers are fabricated with the distinctive AIC helically corrugated tube design. Intended for use with high fluid flows and low temperature variances, these robust, compact units are ideal for many residential and industrial applications.
Their complete stainless steel welded structure ensures product strength and high quality performance.
Double Wall Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers - With visual leak detection
The design of the double wall brazed plate heat exchanger prevents cross contamination of fluid streams if there is an internal leak within the unit.
Two stainless steel plate walls separate the fluid streams, with an air gap in between. In the event of a leak, the affected fluid flows into the air gap and escapes out of the heat exchanger unit, enabling visual detection of the leak.
Special corrugation plate patterns within the heat exchanger promote highly turbulent flow. Turbulance dramatically improves heat transfer rates and reduces the amount of deposits inside the unit.
Pharmaceutical & Food Grade Heat Exchangers
A new series of heat exchangers designed and engineered for the pharmaceutical and food industries and suitable all applications requiring compliance with FDA and 3A specifications.
The unique construction of the S-Line Sanitary heat exchangers prevents cross-contamination of fluid media, even in case of unsealing of the tubesheet-tube connections. This advanced design also ensures correct operation in applications requiring the highest standards of cleanliness.
